Good morning Gym Bros! Are you ready to rock! Well... not really, unless by rock we mean workout like beasts, which we do. Here's the plan for today:

You can't give up on your dreams, never. If it takes time then so be it, all good things do. Reaching your goals and achieving your dreams is extremely important, don't jeopardize it.

Now take a quick 5 minutes of your day to give this video a listen. Motivation is key, keep it constant and you'll be unstoppable.  

Workout of the Week

Bodyweight Calisthenics Workout

If you usually are a powerlifter or lift weights for aesthetics, we think you could use some variety in your workouts with some calisthenics exercises. Using your bodyweight to perform exercises gives you many benefits such as improving your brain-body connection, improving your posture and many more. This is a very quick exercise session to see if you are interested in this kind of workout, try it out, you might love it!  

Warm Up

  • 2 x 1 minute plank (more or less depending on your abs strength)

Section one

  • 15 reps of plank to push up

  • 1 min rest

  • 10 reps of lying leg lift

  • 1 min rest

Repeat 3 times

Section two

  • 5 to 15 reps of pull up

  • 2 minute rest

  • 1 to 3 minutes of chair pose

Repeat 3 times

Now Let's get to Work!

Barbell Triceps Extension

INSANE TRICEP EXERCISE ALERT. Indeed, as you can see in the picture, the barbell triceps extensions target the medial, lateral and long head of your triceps. It will grow your triceps on all of his aspects so don’t wait another day and add this one to your workout.  

Kanasana or Simplified Angle Pose

This simplified version of a pose is a preview of what we have for you tomorrow. The hamstring stretch the simplified angle pose gives you is perfect before a hard leg day workout. Indeed, it’s as important to stretch your hamstrings than to stretch your quads before a workout, so… do it.

Workout song of the day: Ric Flair Drip (with Metro Boomin) by Offset

Offset and Metro Boomin are really the mood today. The cold beat behind the lyrics will make you kick every door in your way to success. It will give you the mindset you need to become THE man. Blast this one, you won’t regret it my fellow gym bros.
