Good morning Gym Bros! How's your weekend going so far? Hopefully it's going great and you're ready for it to get better. Here's how we plan on doing that:

Who are you a part of? If you're reading this, you're already on the right path to stop being an amateur.

Now take a quick 5 minutes of your day to give this video a listen. Only with discipline can you stay focused and reach the finish line. Build some discipline and you'll be unstoppable.

Workout of the Week

Bodyweight Calisthenics Workout

If you usually are a powerlifter or lift weights for aesthetics, we think you could use some variety in your workouts with some calisthenics exercises. Using your bodyweight to perform exercises gives you many benefits such as improving your brain-body connection, improving your posture and many more. This is a very quick exercise session to see if you are interested in this kind of workout, try it out, you might love it!  

Warm Up

  • 2 x 1 minute plank (more or less depending on your abs strength)

Section one

  • 15 reps of plank to push up

  • 1 min rest

  • 10 reps of lying leg lift

  • 1 min rest

Repeat 3 times

Section two

  • 5 to 15 reps of pull up

  • 2 minute rest

  • 1 to 3 minutes of chair pose

Repeat 3 times

Now Let's get to Work!

Close-Grip Bench Press

This variant of the regular bench press is a good exercise to add to your chest routine because it mainly focuses on your upper chest, the portion of the chest that’s harder to target. Plus, a big upper chest is aesthetic so we highly recommend this exercise.

Bhekasana

The Bhekasana pose is really just a leg stretch. Leave all of the fancy yoga you see in the picture and focus on warming up your legs before a good leg day. Do this before a good squat session and you’ll love it.

Another french banger today. This rage beat will set the tone for your day. You’ll want to kill. Kill your homework, Kill all the work you’ll have on your plate, but don’t kill anyone! Even your haters should stay alive to watch you succeed…
